Lesson 1 : LANGUAGE / Pronunciation- WEEK: … Vocabulary-Grammar
I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of this review, Ss will have revised the language they have learnt
and the skills they have practised in Units 10, 11, 12. 1. Knowledge:
- To revise the language and skills they have learnt from unit 10 to unit 12.
- Ss what they have learnt so far in terms of language and skills.
- Summarise their answers at the end and add additional information if necessary.
- T may use this language review section as a self-test. Ss do the exercises in 30 minutes, then T
checks their answers. Otherwise, T can conduct each activity separately.
+ Revise the words related to Communication technology ; Science abd technology in the future; Outer space.
+ Stress in words ending- ese and -ee ; sentence stress in isolation and in context; Intonation for making lists.
+ Revise how to Interrupting politely ; Giving and responding to good news.
a) Vocabulary: Ss revise the words related to Communication technology ; words about shopping;
b) Grammar :
Prepositions of place and time; Possessive pronouns; Reported speech (Statements)
c) Writing : Writing a paragraph to describe a way of modern communication; Write an opinion
paragraph about whether robots will raplace teachers at school.
2. Competence: To remind students the knowledge that they have learnt in Units 10-11-12
- Be cooperative and supportive in pair work and teamwork.

1. WARM UP & INTRODUCTION (5’) * Objectives: Introduction
- By the end of this review, students will have revised the language they have learnt and the skills
they have practised in Units 10 – 12. Ask Ss what they have learnt so far in terms of language and skills.
+ Summarise their answers and add more information if necessary. Encourage Ss to recall and
name as many words as possible.
+ Provide further practice if necessary. Otherwise, conduct each activity separately.
* Content: Having some warm-up activities to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to inspire
