Lesson 1: GETTING STARTED WEEK: A talk at the school gate
I. OBJECTIVES: * By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to gain:
- use the words related to the topic Music and Arts;
- pronounce the sounds /ʃ/ and /ʒ/ correctly;
- use like, different from, (not) as... as to compare people and things; - express preferences;
- read for specific information about a traditional art form;
- talk about a musical performance at their school;
- listen for specific information about street painting;
- write an informal letter of invitation 1. Knowledge:
- To introduce the topic “ Music and arts ”. To practice listening and reading.
- Have an overview about the topic Music and arts.
- Use the vocabulary to talk about Music and arts.
