CHUYÊN ĐỀ 7: LƯỢNG TỪ A – LÝ THUYẾT
Lượng từ (Quantifiers) là các từ chỉ số lượng, được đặt trước danh từ để bổ nghĩa cho
danh từ. Một số lượng từ trong tiếng Anh đi với danh từ đếm được, số khác lại đi với
danh từ không đếm được, và một số lại có thể đi với cả danh từ đếm được và không đếm được.

- some: thường dùng trong câu khẳng định, câu yêu cầu, lời mời, lời đề nghị.
- any: thường dùng trong câu phủ định, nghi vấn.
4. Động từ dùng sau từ chỉ số lượng Cấu trúc Ví dụ

5. Phân biệt ‘Another, Other(s), The other(s)’ Another
Dùng như 1 tính từ, theo sau là danh từ She needs another pen to write the note. đếm được số ít

6. Phân biệt ‘Few/A few’ Few A few
- Đi với danh từ đếm được số nhiều
- Đi với danh từ đếm được số nhiều
- Mang nghĩa tiêu cực (rất ít, hầu như - Mang nghĩa tích cực (1 vài, 1 ít) không có)
Ex: Few students attended the lecture Ex: A few people showed up to the party today. last night.
7. Phân biệt ‘Little/A little’ Little A little
- Đi với danh từ không đếm được
- Đi với danh từ không đếm được
- Mang nghĩa tiêu cực (rất ít, hầu như - Mang nghĩa tích cực (1 vài, 1 ít) không có)
Ex: There is little water left in the bottle.
Ex: I need a little sugar for my coffee.
8. Phân biệt ‘Most, Mostly, Almost’
- Mang nghĩa “hầu hết, hầu như”, dùng trước danh từ không xác
định. Most + N = Most of + the/tính từ sở hữu + N Most
Ex: Most people prefer summer over winter.
Most of the students in this school are intelligent and learned. Mostly
- Là trạng từ, mang nghĩa “chủ yếu là, thường là”.
